About your Instructor
Hi, I'm Jan Carroll, founder and managing director of Fortify Institute and your instructor on our PECB programmes. I teach cybersecurity and AI governance, and I lecture at UCD Professional Academy, where I deliver AI Governance and the Professional Diploma in Cybersecurity. I have trained more than 1,000 professionals.
I hold an MSc in Applied Cybersecurity, an MEd in Adult Education, and PECB Lead Implementer and Lead Auditor certifications in ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 42001. I am also a doctoral researcher at the University of Limerick, studying shadow AI and cyber resilience in Irish micro-SMEs.
